The purpose and mission of the School Ministry Team (SMT) is to insure in every way possible that the mission statement of Visitation School is achieved and maintained. The SMT is an advisory board to the principal. SMT operates under by-laws. SMT members serve three-year terms with one third of the membership rotating off each spring. New members are sought through a self-nomination process each spring.
The School Ministry Team meets monthly, except in July. Members are assigned to one of SMT's Committees that meet outside of SMT meetings. These Committees also include a member from the parent and parish community and from the school staff.
