The Visitation Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is the fundraising and volunteer arm of our school community. PTO positions are held by parent volunteers, and in their respective roles, members of PTO spearhead many of the fundraising and volunteer efforts that make our school community thrive.
Fundraisers include:
These fundraisers support the PTO's four key areas of financial focus: Fund-A-Need, Cultural Arts, Teacher Appreciation, and Community Enrichment. These funds make it possible for money to be spent in areas of the greatest need. Furthermore, they make a tremendous contribution toward enriching our school community with things such as cultural trips for our students, engaging new parent programs, purposeful participation in Catholic Schools Week, a much-anticipated Field Day, and meaningful acts of appreciation for our teachers and staff. The PTO, along with the many other parent volunteers that serve our school community - room parents, field trip volunteers, lunch helpers, coaches, bookworms, etc. - are vital to the success of our school. Visitation parents serve with borrowed hours, not just because this school relies on it, but because, as a Catholic community, we are called to do so.
