SHAMROCK ATHLETICS

There are many benefits to participating in school sports for children in elementary school. At Visitation School, we encourage kids to join a team to learn new skills, keep active and fit, share a common goal, keep a growth mindset, and make a commitment.
The Shamrock Athletics program is organized by parent volunteers on the Visitation Athletic Committee (VAC) and Athletic Director, J.L. Roach. Volunteers coach the teams and operate the gym for home games. Visitation participates in the Parochial League of Kansas City, the organization that develops the rules and procedures that guide youth sports in the Diocese of Kansas-City-St. Joseph.

VISITATION ATHLETIC COMMITTEE (VAC)

VAC meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the Faith Formation room in Tighe Hall. Anyone is welcome to attend VAC meetings and bring important topics to VAC's attention. VAC and student athletes depend heavily on our volunteer parent-coaches. If you are interested in coaching, please contact athletic director J.L. Roach.
