FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

A MESSAGE FROM MS. KALLMAN...

Welcome to the Visitation Catholic School website! We are so glad you are here to check out our school program and community!

There are so many special things about Visitation. This is a place that cultivates faith and stewardship in the children we serve. Parents are regular school volunteers here, as guest readers, lunchroom volunteers, coaches for athletic teams, and more. Three parent organizations are very active in their support of the school:
  • SMT – the School Ministry Team serves as the advisory council that consults with the principal and pastor.
  • PTO – the Parent Teacher Organization leads the fundraising efforts, plans for special events for parents and families, sponsors field trips for students.
  • VAC – the Visitation Athletic Committee organizes and implements the sports programs in conjunction with the athletic director.

Visitation has served the students of Visitation Parish for more than 100 years, and we hope to continue for 100 more! Many of our students are second or third generation from the same families, so our motto, “Proud Tradition - Bright Future – It’s who we are!” reflects that feeling of a connected community.

Excellent academics are a hallmark of Visitation School. The faculty and staff focus on challenging coursework for all students to prepare them for high school and beyond. As an inclusive educational community, Visitation strives to meet the needs of all learners.

If you are looking for a school for your child, a place to work or volunteer opportunities, we welcome you to contact us. Get involved and learn what’s great about Visitation. Since 1921, we have been learning, growing, praying and serving at Vis. Come join our community!
